Last year the council requested and was granted funds through the IMA MEF Grant program, which we used to support over 100 students and several academics to attend the IMA Student Leadership Conference. The Council Board has discussed doing this again.

Slack | student-activities | IMA P&C Council) to contribute to this discussion and participate in an electronic vote, so we can move forward. This year's Student Leadership Conference (virtual) will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021. Existing IMA student and academics may attend the Student Leadership Conference for free. So this is an opportunity to encourage new students and academics to attend the conference and get a one year IMA membership for free (as the council would be paying the membership fee of $25/each for students and $120/each for academics). The 2021 MEF Grant Application is due to IMA Global by August 31, 2021, so we need a decision not later than August 24, 2021 at 7 pm.
We also need a list of potential student and academics who would be interested in attending the IMA Student Leadership Conference. Please provide names and contact information to me at the email below for anyone you may be aware of that does have an interest. Thanks.
