Diversity has many acronyms. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) illustrates how belonging is a key component of DEI, explaining the need to belong! IDEA brings Inclusion to the front along with Diversity, Equity, and Access. Access illustrates the need to address structural inequities and provide pathways for participation, removing barriers and creating equal access.
Please join us for an informative session on DEI, DEIB and IDEA. We will provide many illustrations and examples as we work to improve our communities, organizations, and workplaces. Our session is open to all including students, faculty, and professionals. Membership is not required. We look forward to our conversations!
